Opening in 2007 in Bricks-and-Mortar form, RAW focuses in particular on ‘Outsider’ or ‘Naïve’ artists and their work.

This rapidly expanding and continually evolving body of expression denotes a genre uninhibited by mere technical concerns – on the contrary, these ‘naïve’ protagonists boast little or no formal ‘classical training’ whatsoever.

In terms of the actual production of these works –true to an Outsiders unconscious credo- the artist will invariably ‘feel’ their way through the entire process, embracing, interpreting, and ultimately aesthetically validating emotionally-formed-information-streams, while simultaneously tearing down and challenging the standpoint and constraints of an intellectually-driven or otherwise ‘traditional’ model-of-approach.

The images offered for sale on this site are registered reproductions of the artist’s original works and are available for download in various resolutions, which will enable you to print in sizes ranging from A4 – A2.

In many instances the originals are still available for sale directly from RAW Gallery and are ready-mounted and framed.
